With the introduction of the Laboratory Information System ( LIS) recently, the Mongar Hospital Laboratory services have been fully computerised. It is now possible to get a centralised computer printed report of all the investigations in a single form for a particular patient. With few initial hitches, the new system is expected to get smoothly functioning soon.

we have lis system too. its one of the best system i see. where ever am in the hospital ward ot opd i just click on a computer and all repots are ready. what is important is they should upload as soon as the result is out. also we have priscription writing in computer. by the time patient goes from opd to pharmacy their drugs are already packed and need not wait.

I envy that system...you are lucky to be working there. hope someday we have something similar..but this much is even good enough for our evolving health system.
